Due to water supply maintenance works, it is anticipated that an interuption to water supply will occur in Fisher Street, Stawell on 29 November 2016.

We advise that due to water supply maintenance works, it is anticipated that interruptions to water supply will occur in Fisher Street, Stawell on 29 November 2016.

 

While every effort will be made to maintain the supply except for the period stated above, the nature of the work is such that it may not be possible to adhere strictly to these arrangements.

Any customer expected to be interrupted will have been delivered a notification two full business days prior to the interruption. Customers should store sufficient water to adequately provide for their requirements in case the supply is interrupted for a longer period than anticipated.

Consumers with special water requirements such as dialysis or home occupation, who have a critical reliance on a continued water supply, should ring us on 1300 659 961.

 

General information

Heating and cooling appliances, including hot water services and refrigeration units that rely on the water supply, should be treated with caution and operated only in accordance with manufacturers recommendations for water supply shut down.

When supply is restored water may initially be discoloured or cloudy. If this is the case, householders are advised to allow a tap to run for a minute or two until the water becomes clear. Householders are encouraged to collect this water in buckets for use in the garden. Please note that it is not advisable to draw hot water while the supply is clearing.
