Interruption to Water Supply - Halls Gap

Reason: Maintenance Works

Starting: 11.30 pm, 9 October 2025
Finishing: 1.30 am, 10 October 2025

GWMWater contractors, HGP Civil, will be undertaking proactive renewals and maintenance works in Halls Gap. The works will be completed overnight to minimise disruption to businesses and customers.

Access to drinking water
To address your needs during these planned works we will provide a water trailer at the 
Halls Gap Pool located at 10 Schools Rd, Halls Gap Vic 3381.
The water trailer will be available from 6 pm on Thursday 9 October 2025.
When bringing containers for filling, please be mindful to protect your back and carry only as much water as you can comfortably manage.

Traffic management will be in place near the work site and we ask drivers in the area to observe traffic management signage.

Our contractors will make every effort to minimise noise levels throughout the  works and to restore water supply as quickly as possible.

During the water supply interruption do not use any taps or water using appliances.

Following the works it is often necessary for our staff to flush the water mains to restore water quality. Any loss of water will be kept to a minimum.
