ResourceSmart Schools
ResourceSmart Schools is a free program offered by Sustainability Victoria that supports Victorian schools to embed sustainability across the school facilities, community and curriculum, while saving resources and money for the school.
Schools join the program, then have access to an online portal (ResourceSmart Schools online), where they learn and practice ways to integrate sustainability.
Learn more about the program here.
Schools Water Efficiency Program (SWEP)
SWEP is a free Victorian Government initiative that monitors school water use and alerts schools when there is a leak. A digital data logger tracks the school’s water use 24/7. Leak alerts are sent when unusually high use is detected, and schools can check their data anytime through the SWEP portal.
They also have curriculum-aligned primary and secondary worksheets and activity guides.
