Last updated: 10 am, 14 June 2017

Planned interruption

Reason: Maintenance works

Starting: 9 pm, 20 June 2017
Finishing: 4 am, 21 June 2017

Due to repair works on the George Road water main, we advise that there will be an interruption to water supply affecting 80% of the township of Ararat as follows:

From Tuesday 20 June at 9pm to Wednesday 21 June 2017 at 4am.

Works will be completed at night when water usage is at its lowest and when there will be the least customer impact. Every effort will be made to limit the interruption of water supply as above, but it may not be possible to adhere strictly to these timeframes. Expect an audible level of construction noise during this period at the two maintenance sites; corner of Brewster Rd and Barkly Street and also the corner of George Rd and Barkly Street. Prior to the interruption, please store sufficient water for your needs for example, store water in the bath or sink and drinking water in containers.

If you have a critical reliance on continued water, such as for dialysis or home occupation call us on 1300 659 961.

We apologise for any inconvenience that customers may experience.
