GWMWater wants community voices at the table

GWMWater wants community voices at the table

GWMWater is calling for expressions of interest from customers and community members to join a new Community Panel that will help guide decisions on future services, infrastructure investment and pricing.

The 15-member panel will play a key role in developing GWMWater's 2028-2033 Price Submission, providing direct input into the projects and services that matter most to local communities.

GWMWater Executive Manager Customer and Employee Experience Adele Rohde said the organisation was looking for people from all walks of life.

"You don't need specialist water knowledge to join our panel," Ms Rohde said.

"If you're willing to share your views on our proposals and consider what's best for customers and the community, we'd like to hear from you."

Panel members will tackle important questions about the future, including where investment should be focused, what services customers value most and how GWMWater can keep water and wastewater services affordable in the years ahead.

The panel will include residential, rural and business customers from across the region, ensuring a broad range of perspectives are represented.

Successful applicants will meet five times up until June 2027. Travel expenses will be reimbursed, and participants will also receive a small allowance in recognition of their time and contribution.

Expressions of Interest close Tuesday November 3.
