Harrow

Minimise water usage

Reason: Non-toxic algae

Harrow township is currently receiving water via an alternate water supply due to low levels of non-toxic algae detected at the Harrow water storage.

This temporary arrangement has been introduced to minimise the impact on customers whilst we treated the algae at the water storage.

To ensure that a water supply can be maintained, we seek customer’s continued cooperation to minimise water use outside the home, particularly during extremely hot weather.

Customers may continue to use town water for bathing, showering and laundry purposes, however the water is not fit for drinking, food preparation, ice making or other human consumption purposes.

We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause and assure customers that we are working as quickly as possible to return water supply to normal operations.

If you require further information please phone our Customer Call Centre at any time during normal business hours on 1300 659 961.
