Reclaimed water is treated wastewater available for reuse from our wastewater treatment plants. GWMWater is committed to recycling treated wastewater for beneficial reuse and sees this product as an important resource, able to serve many needs such as: > Reducing the need for drinking water or raw water in irrigation GWMWater is continually investigating ways to conserve water through the use of reclaimed water. Not only does reclaimed water enhance the environment by reducing demand on freshwater and preventing wastewater from entering our waterways, it provides economic benefits to industry and social benefits to the community through the enhancement of facilities. We have implemented numerous reclaimed water schemes across the region. These schemes mean that no discharge of wastewater to local waterways is required. Reclaimed water schemes includes:
