Landlords and Tenants: Who pays?

Residential

Moving In / Moving Out - Change your address

If you are moving in to a rental property please confirm with either the real estate agent or landlord that you are responsible to pay for the water usage.

Commercial

Moving In / Moving Out - Change your address

On a landlord’s written request, GWMWater can address our account directly to the tenant, on the clear understanding that the owner is ultimately responsible should their tenant fail to pay the account. A duplicate copy of all accounts will be sent to the landlord, as they are ultimately responsible for the account. Written notification must also be received from the landlord to move a commercial tenant out of a property.

Owners

If you have sold or purchased a property your solicitor / conveyancer will notify us of this change once settlement has gone through. Please contact your solicitor / conveyancer to ensure the relevant legal notification has been forwarded to us.
