Rob Atkin (Chairman) This committee represents irrigators and diverters in the Dimboola, Drung, Haven, Murtoa, Quantong, Riverside and Vectis areas. A general meeting of all Wimmera irrigators was held in Horsham on 30 April 2009 to determine the future direction for the Wimmera Irrigation Area. At the meeting it was agreed that a business case be prepared to facilitate the permanent closure of the Wimmera irrigation system. The Business Case has since been developed and was submitted to the Federal Government for consideration in November 2009.
