GWMWater is committed to recycling treated wastewater for beneficial reuse and sees this product as an important resource, able to serve many needs such as:

  • Reducing the need for drinking water or raw water in irrigation
  • Maintaining public assets
  • Contributing to regional growth
  • Reducing environmental impacts from traditional river discharges
  • Innovative potable water substitution options

GWMWater has 25 wastewater treatment plants and supplies reclaimed water from eight of these plants to 34 customers in Ararat, Birchip, Charlton, Dimboola, Donald, Edenhope, Halls Gap, Horsham, Murtoa, Nhill, St Arnaud, Stawell and Warracknabeal.
