Primary programs
  1. GWMWater has developed a Water Conservation and Water Quality Matrix and Wastewater Matrix to help teachers in their classroom programs. These two resources fit into Education Department guidelines (VELS). Both matrixes are designed around Gardener's Multiple Intelligences and Bloom's Taxonomy. Each matrix outlines a comprehensive program and is supported by activity sheets, web links and suggested presentations.
  2. Dripping Details is a student newsletter distributed each term to all schools in the GWMWater region.
  3. Schools are provided with an opportunity to win a major prize in the National Water Week poster competition annually.

Secondary programs
  1. To enhance awareness of the water industry and the importance of water to our lives, GWMWater invites year 9 students to submit a short activity based on the theme of water. The best two entries from each school will Win $75.
  2. Low water use garden grants of up to $250 are available for each secondary school in the GWMWater region.
  3. GWMWater organises an annual year 9 and 10 water conference in June. The conference is the final part of a water program that fits well with VELS covering different learning styles and outcomes.
